Glycated haemoglobin — a blood test that reflects the average blood glucose level over the preceding 2–3 months by measuring the percentage of haemoglobin molecules with attached glucose. Used to diagnose and monitor diabetes (normal: below 42 mmol/mol or 5.7%).
